Where Collaboration Creates Community
Three years ago, we launched Skate Social Club, a monthly, free meet-up by women, for the Barcelona skate community.
Our core mission at @__almaslibres is to create safe, inclusive spaces and programmes exclusively for women. But true equity means engaging everyone in the conversation, which is why each month, we open this space for all to join, connect, and learn together.
What started as a vision to connect more women has now grown into Barcelona’s #largest women’s surfskate movement, supported by allies who collaborate, instead of compete.
Together, we’re pushing boundaries, breaking stereotypes, and riding forward as one. Special thanks to our collaborators @yowsurf, @grupotragaluz, and our incredible coaches!

As we shake off the winter blues and step into sunnier days, we’re thrilled to announce a new collaboration with @grupotragaluz.
Join us this Sunday from 15:00 for an afternoon filled with #free skate and surfskate lessons powered by @yowsurf and our community riders, @pyojany, @nadia_scherer and @raquelskate followed by drinks, giveaways, and a live DJ set at @campingmarbarcelona from 16:30. Skate x Surfskate Classes
Throwback to those summer vibes on these rainy days!
𝙳𝙸𝙳 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝙺𝙽𝙾𝚆? Since 2020 we have hosted weekly skate and surfskate classes including all the equipment and protection, for 𝙾𝙽𝙻𝚈 𝟻€. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced skater, our coaching team will guide you.
𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃 𝚃𝙾 𝙷𝙴𝙰𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙱𝙴𝚂𝚃 𝙿𝙰𝚁𝚃? As a non-profit organisation 100% of the money from each class is reinvested into the community, helping us not only empower you but also support other women through sport. This includes giving us the opportunity to host our monthly, 𝙵𝚁𝙴𝙴 Skate Social Club, where we create a space to ride, connect, and grow together. Next 𝚂𝙺𝙰𝚃𝙴 𝚂𝙾𝙲𝙸𝙰𝙻 𝙲𝙻𝚄𝙱, 𝟸𝟹𝚁𝙳 𝙵𝙴𝙱𝚁𝚄𝙰𝚁𝚈.
