A few days ago, we announced an exciting new collaboration with @garazisanchez, one of Spain’s most accomplished and fearless surfers, a true powerhouse in and out of the water, known for her titles, resilience, and passion for ocean conservation.

This marks the beginning of a beautiful journey as she officially joins @__almaslibres, helping us shape our energy, seat by seat, table by table, wave by wave.

To celebrate the launch of our collaboration and the premiere of Garazi’s new documentary, we’re hosting an intimate conversation at @surfhousebarcelona, as part of our @conversationsforthecurious series, a talk series designed for women, by women.

Garazi will share her personal journey, the challenges she’s faced chasing her dreams, and how surfing taught her leadership, resilience, and how sport empowers women to carve their own paths, both in life and business.

Almas Libres x Garazi Sanchez

We’re proud to welcome @garazisanchez, widely recognised as one of Spain’s most accomplished female surfers, as our newest ambassador, a fearless athlete and trailblazer proving that sport doesn’t just build strength, it builds leaders.

Garazi began surfing at just seven years old on the beaches of Getxo, driven by her deep connection to the ocean. Her rise through the surfing world was swift and powerful: she became Spain’s national champion in 2017 and 2018, runner-up in the European circuit, and a Top 25 finisher at the World Championship.

But her story is about more than medals. It’s about what sport teaches: confidence, focus, resilience, and how to lead under pressure.

Skate Social Club

This month’s Skate Social Club brought the sunshine and those longer evenings we’ve all been waiting for.

𝙳𝙸𝙳 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝙺𝙽𝙾𝚆? Our free once monthly Skate Social Club is open to everyone, men and women, with our team of qualified coaches here to introduce you to surfskate and skateboarding.

What began as a moment of women coming together to support each other through sport has grown into Barcelona’s #first and largest all-women sports movement, and we’re just getting started!

A huge thank you to the incredible men in our community, the dads who bring their daughters, the brothers who stand by their sisters, and every man who shows up not just to ride, but to support, empower, and uplift the women around them.
