Rainy Sundays in Barcelona don’t slow us down, they remind us why we head to the mountains.

For the past 3 years, @__almaslibres has been creating space for women on snow, from first-ever turns to committing to their first jump. We bring women together, build real connection, and support progression on and off the slopes.

Inspired by riders like @annagassersnow, we’re here to take up space in sports and back women as they push their own limits.

Almas Libres x Ambassador

Entering the new year and welcoming a new member to @__almaslibres family, our newest Pro Athlete Ambassador, @letscanales.

An eight-time Spanish Surf Champion, Leti caught her first wave at just six years old in Sopelana. Since then, she’s turned every setback, including recovery from a serious injury, into fuel to come back stronger. In 2021, she made history as @wsl QS European Champion and went on to place 3rd in the Challenger Series in Australia.
Beyond the waves, Leti is a fearless voice for resilience, leadership, and the power of sport to break barriers and drive social change, from the grassroots to the global stage.

2025 Recap

We didn’t wait for permission this year. We built momentum for women to move, lead, and be seen through sport, proving the #power of women’s sport to create opportunity and drive change.

In 2025, listening closely to our community meant choosing intention over noise. We focused on smaller groups, better-equipped sessions, and women-led experiences, rooted in a simple truth: 94% of women in C-suite leadership played sport in their youth. Access starts early, and #leadership grows from it.

• 1,500+ women engaged across 114 sports programmes and retreats, delivered by our team of coaches and facilitators
• 450+ women engaged across 4 sold out women-led networking events for entrepreneurs, founders and women leaders
• 2 new global and 8 new local collaborations
• 2 new Pro Athlete Sports Ambassadors

Every number represents a woman claiming her place. Every programme proves that women’s sport is not niche, it’s #necessary.

When Women Lead With Purpose

Two weeks ago, @__almaslibres brought together a sold-out room at Juno House filled with current and former pro athletes, women shaping global sport, and leaders driving innovation in technology.

It was a space for honest conversation, where experience met curiosity and #vulnerability became a strategic strength.

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚢 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚌𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚛; the #athlete mindset, resilience, discipline, adaptability, and teamwork is a powerful foundation for modern leadership.

This is our work at Almas Libres: advancing women’s #leadership through sport, culture, and technology, and equipping future leaders who are grounded, intentional, and driven by impact.
